St. Joseph School PTG and Families Shine at Malasada Shuffle
February 17, 2026
On February 15, the St. Joseph School PTG, parents, and faculty came together to help cook malasadas for the annual Malasada Shuffle at Aunty Sally's Luau Hale. This festive event, hosted by the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, celebrates Fat Tuesday and the beginning of the Lenten season.

Our Cardinal ‘Ohana proudly supported the community by rolling dough, frying delicious malasadas, and assisting with transactions throughout the day. It was inspiring to see so many of our families come together to contribute to this beloved local tradition.

A special thank you goes to SJS alumna Jean Alves for coordinating the event and inviting our school to participate. Your efforts helped make the day a success and brought our school community closer to our neighbors.

We are so proud of our Cardinal families for representing St. Joseph School with heart, spirit, and aloha.
Go Cardinals!
