Elementary Christmas Concert: Winter Wonderland

Our elementary students delighted families with a magical Winter Wonderland–themed Christmas Concert filled with joy, music, and holiday spirit. The evening began with a beautiful opening prayer by Father Poli, followed by a warm welcome from our Head of School, Kumu Kipapa. Although the concert officially began at 6:30 p.m., families eagerly filled the venue starting at 6:00 p.m., creating a wonderful sense of excitement and community.
The 5th graders opened the program with a meaningful retelling of the Nativity story, setting a reverent and joyful tone for the night. Each class followed with heartfelt performances, leading up to a festive finale by the 6th graders, who closed the show with a special number featuring Santa—Island-style—arriving in his red canoe for a truly Hawaiian holiday touch.
Following the concert, families enjoyed refreshments hosted by our PTG, including hot cocoa, sweet treats, and even hot miso soup. We extend our sincere mahalo to our generous sponsors: Big Island Delights, Big Island Candies, and Ohana Foods.
