St. Joseph School Senior Class to Host Easter Food Basket Distribution

Hilo, Hawai‘i — The St. Joseph School Senior Class of 2025 is proud to announce a special Easter Food Basket Distribution as part of their Theology Class Charity Project. This student-led initiative aims to provide support and nourishment to families in need within our local community during the Easter season.

The project is a meaningful expression of the students’ commitment to living out their faith through acts of service. Each Easter basket will include a variety of perishable and non-perishable food items—generously donated by the Hawaii Island Food Basket —as well as a recipe card to help recipients prepare a warm, wholesome Easter meal.

Distribution Details:
Location: In front of the St. Joseph High School Campus driveway
 Date: Thursday, April 17, 2025
 Time: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

All are welcome to stop by and receive a basket—no pre-registration is required.  We will be collecting data for the Hawaii Island Food Basket.

“This effort is not just about giving food—it’s about sharing love, hope, and the joy of Easter,” said a student representative of the Senior Class.
