Urawa Jitsugyo Sister School Activities
November 8, 2024
As part of the Sister School exchange program, St. Joseph School students attended classes and participated in a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities at Urawa Jitsugyo School.
It is truly a blessing to have rekindled this experience with our sister school, which had come to a standstill for six years due to the effects of COVID-19.
The students of St. Joseph School are staying with host families of Urawa Jitsugyo School. Each day, they commute to school with their host brother or sister, either by train or bus. For many of the students, this daily commute is a new experience, as most are used to being driven to school rather than commuting independently.
The students were able to shape and customize their own chopsticks. They were also able to participate in after school actvities, like basketball or volleyball.
