Ke Kapa Inoa Essay Winner

Congratulations to Grant Newman, on his winning piece on Kapa Inoa or Hawaiian Naming.
He demonstrated exceptional journalistic skills with a compelling piece that showcased the various names of the next five future graduating classes of St. Joseph School, and the deep cultural significance of the name given to each class. His ability to honor his culture with such precision and in-depth details made his piece standout above the rest. Well done, Grant.
We'd also like to congratulate two runner up pieces written by Kirra Low and Ava Aguirre. Moreover, we'd like to thank the sponsor of the awards, Mr. Duane Nathaniel with Kalani Consulting, Inc.

Please be sure to read his winning piece!
