On Saturday, February 17, seven students, in grades 7 and 8, represented St. Joseph School at the Hawaiʻi East District Science and Engineering Fair.
All seven projects received Certificates of Merit!
Jerry, Noah, and Sofia earned a spot for the State Science Fair in Honolulu on April 1-3, 2024.
In addition, the students below received the following special awards and recognition:

2nd Place in his Division

American Association of University Women - Female Student in Junior Division
Dr. Robert G Hollingsworth Memorial Award - Outstanding Research Project in Agriculture, Junior Division
US Air Force Award - Outstanding Junior Division Project
4th Place overall at the District Fair
