Congratulations to 5th Grader, Yaeko Arianoff, for entering the Veterans of Forgein Wars "Illustrating America" Art Contest. This was open to all students across the state in grades K-8. Pictured below is Yaeko's submission entitlted, "Poppy Field".
Yaeko's entry won 1st place for the Pāhoa Auxillary and took 2nd place for the overall State of Hawaiʻi Auxillary. She was awarded a prize total of $120. Yaeko also won the Patriotic Youth Award.
