Teacher Appreciation Week was May 8 - May 12. In celebration and to show appreciation, Kumu Kipapa's Hawaiian Language Classes prepared a meal of fried rice and a drink for all the teachers.
When learning to make the fried rice, all instuctions and conversation was done in Hawaiian. Below are a few pictures of some the the haumÄna, or students, delivering their meal. Mahalo teachers for all that you do!
