Over the Easter Weekend, one of our seventh grade students represented our school on Oʻahu competing in the 2023 Hawaiʻi State Science and Engineering Fair. Sofia qualified with her project titled "When Insects Attack".
Sofia received a special $100 cash award from the American Public Works - Hawaiʻi Chapter for her project. Her and her dad experienced a lot of great memories on the trip, including Govenor Green spending a few minutes with all the Big Island students and teachers.
