St. Joseph Church and School Delegates Return from CLI-HI as Sent Disciples

HILO, HAWAIʻI, June 2026 - Delegates from St. Joseph Church and School represented Hilo at the Christian Leadership Institute - Hawaiʻi, continuing another year of mission-driven youth leadership rooted in faith, prayer, and service.
Throughout CLI-HI, students were invited to grow as leaders by praying together, listening deeply, speaking with courage, and reflecting on how Christ is calling them to serve. Their experience reflected the Gospel commission of the sent disciple: “As the Father has sent me, so I send you” (John 20:21), and Christ’s call to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
Another year of St. Joseph School and Parish delegates returned home with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to serve their parish, school, families, and community with faith and sincerity. Their witness is a reminder that young people are not only preparing for future leadership. They are already being sent now.
